More 'bout the New Single

hey guys...just came here to tell that the name of Kagrra,'s new single has been reveled
it's called Shiki 四季 *
- 21th octuber -
*(the meaning of Shiki is "4 seasons")
In the same day they'll be anouncing the movie "The novel of the palm" that will be in the japanese theathers in 2010 with kagrra,'s songs in it!!!!

Akiya's guitar sounds so smooth! I'm wondering if he uses a Jazz guitar in 戯曲 かごめ謡..
I love the contrast between Akki's and Sin's guitar! Left: Sharp and bright, Right: Smooth and warm..
(Damn, I want to know what kind of equipment they use..)

About 夢想境 I like the way Akiya takes over the lead guitar from Sin in the chorus.. Also, those left/right contrasts are beautiful!
Also the Bassline is remarkable (the real Nao-style! XD)

About 四季, I love the koto solo!! And it's tremolo in the back. It also sounds a little dramatic but peaceful..
The 2nd sentence of Isshi's melody is a little predictable.. No idea if that's a good sign or not XD
And.. I like the rithm of the guitar in the chorus..

Haha, I bet I'll make a huge review when I've got the single XD

The chorus in one of them was shocking, but it was probably since my speakers were on loud. xD

四季~ wow, another masterpiece from 神楽！Really love the koto "...shiki wa meguri meguru" is the last sentence Isshi sings in the song, isn't it? And after that, the koto really produces great sounds, just like my 1st impression when I first heard 鬼灯 bgm in their OHP...

夢想境~ I also love the guitars , but uhm, since I'm no good at music, I can hardly describe much about songs XD But I do think this song refreshing, like some really fresh track from 神楽, but still, their Neo Japanesque style really blends out well!

.戯曲 かごめ謡~ whoa, such unique, jazzy, quite traditional tunes! Hm, the initial part in the sample's makes me think back of their Gozen album I don't know why...but I think this track is like jazzy style mixed with their essence of traditional style . Really love this extra song

I think 四季is the type of song that I like from Kagrra,. The other 2 songs are a bit too rockish for me.. hmm... how should I describe it?

Anyway, I'm gonna look forward to the pv that they'll shoot for 四季 I guess!! =)

it's really great... Now I'm looking forward to the pv. oh yes the pv preview is up too..
Isshi's hairstyle is always that long huh. I think I like his hairstyle best at A, Sa, Ki, Yu, Me, Mi, Shi. ^_^
But there's one part where he has a shorter hair wearing a hat and all in black. That totally surprised me to see another look of him. hahaz.

oh yes, the PV preview from their OHP is good indeed and the full version audio, i'll wait till the release date XD actually, i'm veryyy curious & rather tempted to have a trial tee hee... but, i'll wait a little longer

I always love Kagrra,'s songs more if I've listened them a several times..

And as Niensama says, don't judge before you have actually given the songs a fair chance. Which means, at least 10 listens.
Kagrra is a typical "grower" band which gets better with each listens due to the details "hidden" in a lot of their songs.

Yeah, and the songs even get more wonderful if you look at those partitures!
I was planning to analyse 'Shizuku', but I still haven't done it.. I also don't know how I should analyse it, maybe I should wait till I've got further music education. (Maybe I can make my endwork about it ^^)
Shizuku is one of the most wonderful songs ever! You keep on exploring more things. And one of the most beautiful things about that song is the harmony between the title, Sin's acoustic guitar and the piano.
Before I knew the meaning of Shizuku (= Drop), the guitar and the piano reminded me of falling rain. The notes of the acoustic guitar are the drizzle, and the notes of the paino are the bigger drops. At the end the drizzle becomes a heavy storm (Akiya's guitar solo) (note: at that part I'm always about to cry, which fits this context perfectly). At the outro: The storm has faded and it keeps on drizzling.
I guess you'll understand I was thrilled when I heard the meaning of Shizuku.

i listened to the songs for more than 50 times already? lol... just let it loop i guess..
but so far I still like Shiki only... the 2nd song.. i totally have no idea with it.. (lol)
the 3rd song is fine.. but well... the 2nd one i just dun like it ^^

The suit really makes isshi looks big.. it seems a bit odd to me. lolz.
The pv is nice but I think I like sakura tsukiyo better.. It's more touching..

wow, i just listened Shiki some minutes ago~ and musoukyou's opening's just interesting! and bout the PV, don't have it yet, still have to wait a little longer XD but i believe it would be great!

Sadly my friends forbid me to buy anything from Kagrra, until my Birthday (december) because (AS IT SEEMS XD) they want to make a very great Kagrra, present (XD).

I got really curious!!!!!!!!!!!
But I always wait until I have the original.. I never can listen to reviews or watch a lil piece of a PV without owning my own copy xD

Usually I listen to the previews, but not to the full song before I've got my album.
Such beautiful songs has to be listened in great condition and the quality of the cds are probably better.
I think, next time I'm not going to listen to the previews.. I trust Kagrra, blindly!
